Preparing to Present

Once all of your research, planning and testing is finished the time has come for you to present your new invention or process at the Invention Convention. How you present your new invention is up to you. You can create a poster board with all the information or a diorama, depending on what you have invented. Along with your invention presentation you will need to write up a report about how you went about creating your invention and this will be included with your invention at the Invention Convention. Be sure to include the ways that did not work for your invention in order to show how you worked through it.

You will be creating an audio or video file that will be an advertisement for your product explaining how your new invention will be helpful in daily life. Advertise it as if you are trying to sell it, this will make people want to buy the new product. Be as creative as possible!

Today's Tasks:

Write a letter to someone you would like to attend our Invention Convention. This can be anyone! It is especially important for the media to see what great inventions we have created. Write to the news, to the president, to anyone you can think of! Below is a sample letter to help you start writing.


When you are ready to mail your letter get the address from the front board in our classroom.
