Welcome to the Inventions Site!!! Today we are going to start on inventions and the importance of how we came to live how we do today. As you may know there are many inventions in the world from Alexander Graham Bell’s telephone to the computers you use today. New inventions are important for the functions of everyday life. They may be brand new or improvements of a current one.
During this project you will be choosing an invention and inventor that you find interesting and research the one you choose. This blog is organized into specific lessons for you to follow as you go through the project. You may go at your own pace as long as you finish by the deadline. After doing the research you will be creating your own invention or improvement of something you use often. All the inventions will be entered into the school-wide Invention Convention where everyone’s inventions will be presented. For your project you will have to create an audio presentation that will play at your area at the Invention Convention. By doing this people will still be able to hear the information while you are not around to explain it yourself.
